Pedra de Lume is a volcanic crater used as a salt pan. You float, look at the old railway, and leave. Pair with Buracona’s “blue eye” if the light is right — a 4x4 afternoon, not a hike.
Honest notes
It is a stop, not a day. Shark Bay is a guided wade with lemon sharks, more photo than drama. The interior of Sal is desert.
